PayBill – cashless transaction channel.
[Update: 20.8.2021]
PayBill by Safaricom M-Pesa is now the most-used channel for loan repayment in Kenya amongst other things.
It is also compatible with a number of banks and businesses operating in the country, MFIs, mobile loans companies and other institutions.
Needles to say, the service is not for free everywhere. Some paybill charges are incurred by the customer and others aren’t. To check the actual Safaricom M-Pesa charges, click here.
How to remember different PayBill numbers for various loan providers?
Have a look at the chart below. Kashy has put together paybill numbers of the most popular loan providers in Kenya in one place. Right here.

PayBill numbers for Commercial Banks and Microfinance Institutions are gathered here.
What about the other lenders Like Zenka,…
The chart presented above doesn’t reflect the whole cluster of Kenyan loan providers as some apps have integrated the new in-app payment feature that automatically redirects you to the Mpesa payment portal.
PremierCredit, Letshego, Zenka, Kopa Doh and others are going to great lengths to provide you with competitive offers. It’s worth checking other lenders before settling on the above.
